Regarding this, Javier May, the governor of Tabasco, stated that the criminal proceedings against Bermúdez Requena are proceeding on schedule and that the Tabasco State Attorney General's Office will have time to add further evidence. A few days ago, Hernán Bermúdez Requena, "El Abuelo" or "Comandante H," the alleged leader of "La Barredora," filed a complaint against the ruling of Judge Daniel Marcelino Niño Jiménez of the Fourth District Court for Criminal Matters, based in Toluca, State of Mexico, which dismissed as unfounded the amparo lawsuit that he filed this month to avoid extradition to the United States.
