The ceiling of a clothing store collapsed in Brás, in the city of São Paulo, on Friday night (6). The establishment is located at 192 Maria Joaquina Street. Teams from the Military Police, the Fire Department, and São Paulo's Civil Defense are responding to the incident.
In total, 17 vehicles and 51 firefighters were mobilized for the operation, which is ongoing.
Preliminary information from the Fire Department indicates that about 20 people are trapped in a room whose slab was not affected by the collapse.
According to the corporation, they initially show no injuries. There is a possibility of other victims under the rubble. So far, there is no information about deaths.
