Trump admits to discussing situation in Ukraine with Elon Musk

WASHINGTON, October 25. /TASS/. US President Donald Trump said he discussed the situation in Ukraine with US businessman and SpaceX founder Elon Musk. "Yes, I have [spoken to him about it]," he said in response to reporters' questions in Florida. When asked to share details about his conversation with Musk, Trump replied: "No, I can’t." On October 23, Trump stated that Musk "had done nothing wrong" in light of reports on restrictions on the operation of the Starlink and Starshield satellite communication systems in Ukraine. The day before, on October 22, the US leader announced that Ukraine’s access to the military-grade Starshield satellite service had been restored. Trump made these statements in response to media reports alleging that he had asked Musk to lift the restrictions.
