MOSCOW, October 16. /TASS/. The Russian Energy Ministry will discuss the implementation of agreements in the fuel and energy sector with African partners at the upcoming Russia-Africa forum, Minister Sergey Tsivilyov told reporters at Russian Energy Week.
A delegation from Russia visited Africa not long ago and held first meetings of intergovernmental commissions with the Central African Republic, Togo, and Niger, he said, adding that intergovernmental commissions with Mali and Burkina Faso are also working. "Those were not formal meetings: each [meeting of the] commission produced a list of specific projects, timelines, and those responsible for them. At the Russia-Africa forum, we plan to continue our dialogue with African partners and discuss the implementation of agreements reached in detail," the minister noted.
