At dawn on October 9, the Russian army attacked Zaporizhzhia with guided bombs (KAB), killing one person and injuring nine others, including a child.
The Zaporizhzhia Regional Prosecutor’s Office reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
According to the report, the strikes lasted from 4:50 a.m. to 5:59 a.m. The invaders targeted the city’s civilian infrastructure.
The enemy strikes damaged apartment buildings, an extracurricular education facility, and vehicles.

“A 48-year-old man was killed in the attack. As of 7:45 a.m., it is known that nine other people were injured, including a 14-year-old girl. Information regarding the victims is being verified,” the prosecutor’s office stated.
Law enforcement officials have launched a pretrial investigation into a war crime resulting in a death (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
As reported by Ukrinform, on October 8, a Russian FPV drone struck the building of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council.
