As a result of a Russian military strike on Zaporizhzhia, one person was killed and five were wounded, including a child.
This was reported by Mykhailo Semikin, acting head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, according to Ukrinform.
“A man was killed in the enemy strike. Two people were wounded,” he wrote.
Earlier, the official reported that the enemy had struck near one of the high-rise buildings.
Shortly thereafter, Semikin clarified that five people are currently known to have been injured, including a child.
According to him, the Russians carried out six strikes on Zaporizhzhia this morning.
“The enemy attacked a residential area. One of the strikes hit near an extracurricular education facility. All necessary emergency services are on the scene. Medical assistance is being provided to the victims,” the regional governor noted.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russian aircraft have recently been striking bridges in Zaporizhzhia, which is linked to a change in tactics and improvements in guided munitions.
