Beautiful sunshine is welcoming visitors to the Race Village organized by Sport e Salute on the Caracciolo seafront, where more than 42,000 admissions had already been recorded by 1 pm. Weather conditions are reassuring, with wind forecast between 10 and 15 knots: two fleet races remain to be sailed, the first starting at 2:10 pm and the second at 2:46 pm. Following that, with a start at 3:27 pm, there will be the final match race, the one-on-one duel that closes the competition between the top two boats in the overall standings. At the moment, after two days and six races sailed, the Luna Rossa senior crew is firmly at the top of the standings with 51 points out of the 60 available. They are followed by New Zealand with 43 points and Alinghi with 38. The other Italian boat, Luna Rossa Youth & Women, has 35 points, in fourth place ahead of the Americans of Arc Team Usa (34), New Zealand Youth & Women (32) and the French of La Roche-Posay (31), yesterday's protagonists with two wins.
