Putin arrives in West Siberia’s Novosibirsk on working visit

NOVOSIBIRSK, August 10. /TASS/. Following a working trip to the eastern Siberian region of Buryatia, Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in the western Siberian city of Novosibirsk. His visit focuses on regional issues and the development of science and technology. The region’s Governor Andrey Travnikov heads the Russian State Council’s commission on science. Putin’s previous visit to the region took place eight years ago, in August 2018, when the Russian president took part in the Tekhnoprom forum.
