17-year-old kills aunt: third day of search underway

Search operations for the body of the 53-year-old teacher, killed by her 17-year-old nephew who has confessed to the crime, resumed this morning in the Malgher canal for the third consecutive day—the first two days involved generic checks for a missing person. The watercourse, which flows through San Stino di Livenza (Venice), will once again be inspected by SAF unit inflatable boats, divers, and drones from the specialized department. As has been the case since Saturday night, when the young man indicated the location where he had disposed of his aunt's body, inspections will proceed both within the town area and along the remaining part of the watercourse that flows into the Loncon river and eventually reaches the Adriatic Sea near Caorle.
