Lawyers Marco Femminella and Danila Solinas of the Chieti Bar Association have resigned from their mandate as legal representatives of the so-called "forest family." "There was no common vision," said lawyer Solinas when contacted by ANSA. The two lawyers had taken over from the previous lawyer who represented the Anglo-Australian couple, Giovanni Angelucci, last November. He had also unexpectedly decided to resign, later justifying his decision by the oppositional attitude of Catherine and Nathan. "I believe it is necessary and proper to renounce the defense mandate," Angelucci wrote in a statement, "as I cannot, in good conscience and in accordance with professional ethics, establish a defense that is incomplete and not aligned with the defense strategy that I had already indicated and agreed upon with my clients."
