UK Green Party leader Zack Polanski has apologized for failing to pay enough council tax, after it emerged that the houseboat on which he lived had not been registered for the local authority levy.
A spokesperson said Polanski — who has driven a surge in membership for the left-wing party since he became leader last September — apologized “sincerely for the unintentional mistake.”
