The National Health Surveillance Agency (Anvisa) has ordered the seizure of the products Ozempic Power, Mounjmax, Maxtwo + 3D Slim, and Maxtwo Detox, manufactured by an unidentified company. This measure also prohibits the sale, distribution, export, manufacture, advertising, and use of these items.
According to the regulatory agency, this action was motivated by advertisements for the sale of these products, which do not have registration, notification, or registration with Anvisa, and are also produced by an unknown manufacturer.
The determination was published in the Official Gazette of the Union.
Mounjaro Kwikpen
The measure also includes the seizure of two irregular batches of Mounjaro Kwikpen, an injectable medication used to treat type 2 diabetes and obesity. Anvisa warns that batches D830169 and D830169D are prohibited from being stored, sold, distributed, advertised, transported, and used.
This determination was made after the circulation of a product with labeling in English, without registration with Anvisa, of unverified origin, and transported in violation of health regulations, was identified in the national market.
