Embraer announced on Monday (11th) a partnership with the Indian metalworking company Bharat Forge Limited (BFL), which will now be part of its global network of suppliers for forged raw materials.
Forged aircraft components are parts manufactured through a forging process – shaping metal under extremely high pressure and temperature.
This partnership strengthens Embraer's ties in Asia, a region responsible for a significant portion of the company's recent partnerships, such as aircraft sales to companies in Japan and the United Arab Emirates this year, and where it already conducts business with 20 countries.
Earlier this year, Embraer also participated in the Singapore Airshow, an important gateway to markets in the region, and India is one of its most important markets.
In a statement to the press, BFL announced that it will supply forged raw materials for components of landing systems for Embraer's commercial and military aircraft, which are contracted by Japanese and Emirati companies, respectively.

The Indian company celebrated the agreement as an opportunity to position itself in the global supply chain for critical components in the aerospace industry.
"This is a moment of pride and a testament to the capabilities we have developed in the aerospace sector. These contracts will allow us to create scale for critical structural components, complementing the scale already built in the segment of aircraft engine components," said Amit B. Kalyani, Vice President of BFL, in a statement.
According to Embraer, the agreement is the first contract of this type with an Indian supplier, which represents a milestone in strengthening the partnership between the two companies and an important moment in its strategy of diversifying its supplier base.
"This contract reinforces our plans to create a more resilient and competitive supply chain, as well as our commitment to the development of the Indian aerospace industry," said Roberto Chaves, Executive Vice President of Global Procurement and Production Chain at Embraer.
Record Revenue
Embraer recorded a record revenue of US$1.4 billion (R$6.9 billion) in the first quarter of 2026, a 31% increase compared to the same period last year, according to a balance sheet released on Friday (8th). The military and commercial sectors were the ones that showed the greatest growth.
