According to authorities, the incident occurred inside a modest dwelling where, apparently, explosive devices were being handled, intended for use in attacks against the security forces and the civilian population in this area of the department. Currently, authorities are investigating whether all three people were in the same location when the explosive detonated, possibly due to an error or miscalculation, or whether, especially in the case of those affected, they were collateral victims. The La Hacienda area is considered strategic because it serves as a transportation route to the higher parts of the territory. The two survivors were transported to medical centers, but the transfer has been difficult due to the challenging security conditions in this region. The 'Carlos Patiño' group, affiliated with the Farc dissidents and serving 'Iván Mordisco,' is present in this sector.
