In the Huliaipole direction, Russian troops continue assault attempts to advance and establish control over several settlements, but these attacks remain unsuccessful.
Vladyslav Voloshyn, spokesperson for Ukraine's Southern Defense Forces, stated this in a comment to Ukrinform.
"In the Huliaipole direction, the enemy continues its attempts to advance and take control of certain settlements. They are attacking in the area where Zaliznychne and Charivne are located, trying to seize control of Huliaipilske and Verkhnia Tersa," he said.
According to him, the Russian command had set tasks to establish control over certain settlements by specific dates.
"According to our intelligence, the enemy had been tasked with taking control of the settlement of Huliaipilske by May 10, and reaching Verkhnia Tersa by May 15. All of these attempts proved unsuccessful," Voloshyn assured.
