Cooler, wetter weather expected across Finland

Showers are forecast in western parts of Finland on Monday, although temperatures are still expected to range between 6 and 15 degrees Celsius. Rain is set to move across northern and eastern areas during the day, while western Finland could also see isolated thunderstorms. Southeastern Finland is likely to remain relatively milder. On Tuesday, the rain is expected to spread northward from Southwest Finland through Ostrobothnia towards northeast Finland and the Kainuu region. Temperatures are expected to vary significantly across the country. In rainy areas such as Vaasa, temperatures may remain close to five degrees, while southeastern Finland could see highs of around 20 degrees amid drier conditions.
